O hai blog, I haven't seen you in awhile

bout time I make a new post for 2010, although I cheated. Most of these were started in 2009 and finished off in 2010 :P

1. some little black dresses I designed for fun, I think I like the first one best!

2. So I wasn't really going to see Avatar (gasp!) because of all the hype, and when I glanced at the preview it didn't really interest me. Well, I take it all back! AMAZING film. Just...wow. I think I'm probably going to see it again. The Pandora forests at night were breathtaking to look at, and seeing it in 3D really made you feel like you were there. Anyway...I drew Neytiri in Simpson's style because I figured I'd combine 2 things that I enjoy a lot. Also inspired by this awesome blog: http://springfieldpunx.blogspot.com/

4. A forest I started a couple weeks ago but decided to finish off tonight. Its still kinda rough but it was done for practice so I'm cool with it. Wanted it to have a kinda fantasy-ish feel too. Lightly referenced some forest pics.

Cheesecake Christmas!

Dainty

Most of the stuff I've been working on is in Photoshop, but I went on a watercoloring binge recently. Although the ballerina is more mixed media, watercolor and photoshop. Pleased that it turned out pretty unified looking. Hope you guys enjoy!
